Patrons are mostly visitors staying nearby and mostly on a surfing holiday to Bali. This place is miles away from the tourist stretch of Kuta and Seminyak. A few minutes walk from Padang Padang Beach. It is a must go for anyone in the area. The food is not bad. I usually order the Quesadilla to start and one of the Chimichanga (maybe typo) as a main. Wash that down with a few Bintangs and have a few more Bintangs for dessert. Great place to hang out after a day on the beach or in the water. It is always super fun and the staff are really cool and friendly. Oh by the way, they do not like people who are in a hurry. It's true, there's sign that says they do not serve people in a hurry. Then again, why would you be?

Coming from California we love our mexican food! This place is hilarious and awesome...if the food isn't good enough for you, then just go to read the awesome menu and story behind this guy and watch a surf movie that's always playing. We ate there about 5 times and had the tacos every time. They have good drinks and the place fills up fairly quick. Do it!!

We found Cacho's while staying at the Pink Coco in September and since finding it I have not heard the end of it from my boyfriend! The food, the service, the atmosphere of the place.... The chimichangas are just great. They are basically deep fried burritos for anyone that isn't to sure and they are sooooo good. The staff are pretty laid back and no one wears shoes in the place. I loved the margaritas! Real tequila, one flavour! Just superb! We ate here every day the we stayed at the pink coco and can not wait to get back to it.

This is a fun hang out for local Padang-Padang and the tacos are good! Cheap prices and great margaritas, sure the owner might be a little in love with himself (his restaurant is packed most nights and apparently he was a pro surfer back in the day) but his place rocks with the surfy crowd and there is alwaays a fun vibe and great music. Staff are casual and relaxed but hey, you're in Bali, you SHOULD be relaxed! Eat at Cacho's, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Sunset Grill is very close to the famous Padang-Padang beach, and is loosely termed a ‘Mexican’ restaurant as it serves burritos and nachos, but really its ‘western food’ generally as the menu also has burgers, sandwiches, milkshakes etc.

The food is quite average – the nachos with chicken were great, but the burger was the kind where the meat fell apart on contact, like the beef was held together with staples.

The defining personality of the place is the casual, laid back and comical feel you get from the surfing decor, and the humorous menu which describes the founder Cacho as a man born “half Mexican and half African from the waist down”.

The casualness extends to the waiters – when I called him over to deal with the foot long human hair in my salad he acted as if it was not only normal, but actually a free-of-charge bonus to the customer.

Sunset Grill is a tolerable spot in an area with very few options, but my tip is not to go as soon as you read this. They have a sign for a drinks promo, “Free Margaritas Tomorrow”. I’m getting my thirst on and heading there tomorrow - I am gonna bankrupt these fools!
