I'm 56 years old, and not in the best of shape, but getting PADI certified was on my bucket list, so I signed up. (Not really sure how I chose Bali Hai Diving, to be honest.) From the start, on the boat ride over, Rosie, my dive instructor, mixed the perfect balance of skill, knowledge, need to get through PADI required stuff, and humor into her teaching. From England, her English is better than mine. At all times I felt perfectly comfortable, and I really appreciated her enthusiasm for all things diving and ocean. The dive shop was really well organized and equipped, and had everything we needed. Good stuff too, not cheap crap. Everyone from the instructor, the staff and the dive boat staff (not part of Bali Hai Diving), was professional. The dive sites were AMAZING, and the only negative was that air eventually ran out. If you're looking for a perfect place to get scuba certified, and can make it to Bali, I highly recommend Bali Hai Diving.
