loved our stay. went to mussoorie after a long time and was surprised to find such a good hotel. location is a-one and the interiors are very classy. i am a frequent international traveller and i was very happy with the prompt service and the facilities at the hotel. the staff is very soft spoken and try to fulfill ur every wish

Nice hotel with good rooms and helping staff. Since we were travelling with kids, the staff payed special attention for their needs. The rooms are spacious and we were surprised to find such modern rooms in Mussoorie. The best hotel by far .......

Room Tip: The classic rooms are best for small families.

My god a very bad experience of life what should I say there is nothing good in the so called four star hotel no water no proper lift service stairs horrible behaviour can't write hope people must think twice before stey as this is their money and they know the value of their hard earned money

We would like to clarify a few things regarding this reservation:

1. The booking voucher in the name of Mr. YV for this booking was issued for 9 adults staying in 3 rooms on triple occupancy with breakfast (We have a copy of the same) but the number of pax that arrived was 12 (Twelve)

2. The "children" were all over 9-10 years of age (We have video footage of the same) and when the guests were asked to pay for the extra charges they revolted.

3. Mr. YV and his friends were extremely abusive and threatening when asked to pay the extra charges and they threatened the staff that they were renowned lawyers and will create problems for us if we did not give in to their unfair demands.

On the evening of 12 June, 2012 Mr. YV and his friends verbally abused our staff with loud expletives (which cannot be mentioned here) and threatened us with dire consequences. Since they were there with their families, we did not ask them to leave immediately, but the next day, our staff politely asked them to vacate the rooms as we do not tolerate abusive and threatening behaviour on our premises.

There was no problem in any of the services promised or given to the said guests and all the statements in the above review are merely a vengeful act on the part of the guests to degrade our reputation and we highly disagree on the same.

We would request Mr. YV to stay at our hotel and be transparent in his dealings so as to declare the 'actual' number of guests the next time to avoid any such misunderstandings.

We stayed at the Silver Arch for two nights in the highest of high seasons, so the hotel was quite full, but overall we were not very impressed. When we arrived they let us check in an hour early which we were very grateful, but the sheets were soiled and parts of the room obviously hadn't been cleaned. I had to call three times to get them to come and take care of the issue. Our balcony looked onto the parking lot where there was a large amount of garbage that could easily be taken care of. The wifi didn't really work, and that was a big reason why wee picked the hotel

Also, they called around 11pm, waking us up and asking if we wanted room service. We woke up twice to someone trying to get into our room (although that could have been another guest). Both of these instances were very odd.

On the plus side though, they let us store our bags because we had a late train, and the reception staff seemed genuinely
pleasant to deal with.

At the outset, we would like to apologize for the problems faced by you in our hotel.

There was a sweepers strike during your stay due to which there was some problem with garbage disposal although we tried our best to employ our own sweepers for the same.

Mussoorie has just one broadband provide and that is BSNL. We would like to clarify that the Wifi was working fine but with no Internet connectivity from BSNL (due to their server problem), we could actually do nothing about it.

We would like to ensure the best of our services to our guests but sometimes, due to circumstances beyond our control, guests do face some problems and we will make sure that you do not face these problems the next time you decide to visit us.

My self is Ajay Sachdeva.I treat my holidays tour worst of my life where I had to stay in Silver Arch Hotel Mussoorie.The rooms are of small size and worst part of it is that they don't have any restaurant.They have just put 4-5 tables in the open place and they called it our neat & clean restaurant.The hotel staff and owner is having very rude behaviour.Further to add to agony there is no water supply in bathrooms when there is no electricity.My kid had to remain in bathroom while bathing for 30 minutes as the water gone due to electricity failure when asked from manager he very rudly replied "KOI BAAT NAHIN LIGHT AYEGI TO PAANI BHI AA JAYEGA.I had to left the room one day advance due to such lack of facilities of the Hotel .For the 2 days i stayed there the lift worked for one day only.I would request to all plz think twice before opting for this hotel.
