Near the main train station this hostel was perfect for a stay in Varanasi. Because it isn't right down by the Ganges you can't get dropped to the street and not have to walk with your bags through the pedestrian area leading to the main gates. A really quiet spot which is amazing in such a noisy and busy city. Clean rooms and great friendly staff who were helpful and showed us some of the best local things. Also great food and good atmosphere to meet people for a lone traveller. Added bonus is the free use of the washing machine and good music in the garden area
