“Very good and original Korean Food”

This place is owned by a Korean lady meaning the food is as original as it gets. Although the price might be a little higher than regular Indian food (costs between 200-300 rupees per plate), for Korean Food I think it is fair price ! If you want to try something different besides Indian, and western this is a good option ! The place is close Baba Lassi, you will have to go through a passage way right after the Lassi. The restaurant is at the roof top of HareRama Guesthouse. I recommend you go during dinner, and just before the sunset go to the rooftop and find the amazing view of Varanasi. It was surreal to see all the kids on rooftops flying kits, and birds flying by, Varanasi from top is another world. The place is clean and neat, with tasteful decoration. Definitely recommended.

It was hard to find but totally worth it. Very good service ^^ advised me which korean dish would be the best for me ;) and afterwards i ate a custard pudding which included fresh and dried fruits.

Go there ( first find it) and enjoy

If you miss Asian food, Bona Cafe serves mostly tasty Korean both veg and non veg. We had kimchi fried rice and a vegetable glass noodle dish which was yummy. Meals were served with kimchi and soup and rice so quite a complete meal and filling. I also had the rose water lassi which was unique and a bit sweet (so have it after the meal).

Seating is only on Floor mats and a low table but it is atmospheric. The restaurant is ontop of a guesthouse and there is one sign coming in from the main square and just north of Lotus Lounge(use google maps for Lotus Lounge and watch for signs(for the restaurant or guest house ontop of where it resides) painted on the walls as it is not easy to find in the Old City). Also, you will have to go through a narrow, dark walkway under a building(which looks a bit sketchy for 30 seconds before opening to a courtyard where the restaurant and guesthouse are).

I was a little surprised to find a Korean place in Varanasi, but the atmosphere was so nice I found myself here whenever I needed a break. The Korean lady who owns the place is great and the ginger lemon honey tea is probably the best I've tasted.

Well, when you stay for a while in Vara you will notice its a lot of bad food. This place is a little hard to find, but the food there is excellent. I can only recommend it, and please go back sometimes to try various dishes. The taste is better than many places we have been in India. Its also cozy and has a nice staff.
