This beautiful historical site is well maintained and very enjoyable. There is a small charge to take in digital cameras. You are free to roam round the site however you choose. It was very clean and seemed like a refuge of peace compared to the rest of the city. The buildings were very interesting and well preserved - you can still see the shot marks from the siege.
The Residency Museum was the on,y disappointment - despite large signs stating it would be open every day, the museum was closed when we were there.
