I will say that if at all you have to taste the Kabab and Biriyani, go to Zeeshan's near Lucknow Press Club or behind Hotel Maple Leaf on way to Aminanbad/Nazirabad market. Anything in Hazratgunj charges a premium. A plate chicken biriyani and reshmi kabab will cost you around INR 500. In areas I mentioned you'll get a plate of muttom kabab for around INR 100. And the later tastes like heaven, while the former, though deliciously presented, leaves much to be desired. And after all in Lucknow, if it's biriyani or kabab, it has to be mutton-based.
