A couple of masterpieces of very different sorts, the grandiose Taj Mahal and the fun and funky Joney's Place just up the street. My daughter, her friend and I wandered into Joney's after an awe-inspiring afternoon at the Taj and settled in for some good - and very cheap - food, friendly conversation with the man himself (that would be Joney, after he finished cooking up and serving our orders) and a steady stream of interesting fellow travelers. Joney's is a small, very personal joint, hippie-ish looking with a very "homey" feel about it. The menu is varied, from Italian to Korean, and the banana lassis are outstanding.
