Clarks are a nice chain of hotels, but not as nice as say Marriotts. Modern. Nice lobby. Shops. Coffee shop, buffett restaurant and restaurant on the top floor with views of the Taj Mahal. Hard beds. Nice swimming pool. Decent level of service. High level of security, with the vehicles and guests checked.

This hotel is really good in terms of hospitality and had a view of tajmahal from the room. The service provided is excellent.

We took a weekend out to go to Agra with one of my friend and his wife. As we planned this trip on Friday and we wanted to start our journey on Saturday early morning, we did not get much time to look for hotel. We just came to this site and booked this hotel.
We did not have good experience in this hotel. We felt like of partial behaviour towards us compared to foreign nationals. When we told the receptionist that we will stay only for one day her behaviour became rude. Anyways we checked in to the hotel, the rooms were comfortable and spacious. We realized one or two times in a single day that the behaviour was partial towards us during the stay. They were treating the foreign nationals with smile and that smile disappeared when we asked then something.
Anyways our experience was not good staying in that hotel and we checked out of this hotel very next day.

In this large hotel you feel lost in the multitude of package tourists. The rooms were large and well-appointed, but the overall atmosphere and staff was a bit tired. Got stuck in an elevator, an experience shared by others staying weeks later. Average food in "important" restaurants. Housekeeping staff shamelessly pandering for tips.
