This white beauty made for a great, comfortable and homely 4 day stay for us in Agra. Whiter than the Taj Mahal, DolphInn Homestay lived up to its name for us as the stay was so comfortable that it felt like home. It is very close to the Taj Mahal, the main tourist attraction and since it was on the top of our must visit list, DolphInn was the perfect place for our stay. The staff was very warm and accommodating and kept us well informed during our stay about the various tourist spots in Agra. This saved us a lot of time and energy and money. The place is a budget hotel providing a nice, clean room and services at minimal prices, that too so close to the Taj Mahal. It is very difficult to find a cheap hotel near the Taj Mahal. We would recommend DolphInn to all looking for an easy on the pocket accommodation close to the Taj Mahal.

As a westerner traveling in India, you find many varying experiences, good and bad regarding hotel stays. I have been to India several times and know what to look for now. This is one to put on your list as good, especially for an affordable price. The atmosphere is homey and clean, dining offers tasty food and there is a very friendly and accommodating staff. You are near many tourist attractions, such as the Taj Mahal, and the airport. Also, one feels very safe here and the staff can help you plan your excursions. Susan Earhart-USA

Whilst touring in Agra, my husband and i chose to stay in The Dolphinn for 3 days and 2 nights and what should i say? The nights we spent there simply gave us the feeling of being home. We were overwhelmed to see the excellent services provided by the hotel staff being so friendly in fact. The food was indeed deliciously cooked, every penny spent here was definitely worth the price. Such conducive environment provided us the perfect moment for us to relax and retire after such tiring day touring all over Agra.

The facade of the hotel is a lot more impressive than the accommodation. The DoplhInn will provide cheap, basic accommodation with A/c (though mine fused and had to be reset). The layout is a central corridor directly off the reception area, with inevitable noisy consequences. The first room I was shown had no window. The one that did had a toilet / shower that was shabby but functional. The staff were polite and friendly, and the place felt quite safe. Not my idea of a comfortable hotel, but just about tolerable for the overnight stay while you see the sights.

Room Tip: Check if it has a window.
