Hiring a knowledgeable guide made a whole difference as we visited the "Mini Taj".
Though it is not as famous as the Taj Mahal, it is a very nice site to see in Agra. We learned a little bot of the history of it and it made a lot of more sense as we saw all the art work of it.
The place was not crowded and we pay just a small entrance fee.
If you ever go to Agra to see the Taj Mahal, we recommend also to see the "Mini Taj".

For the traveller that likes to stop when something takes their interest, this will. It is total different from the taj and therefore really incomparable. The area is clean and the building is under-going some restoration but I think this is a slow process. There are different and beautiful architectural features to marvel at. What I like is the contrast between the greatly damaged gates and the fully restored gates. You can also marvel at the giant wasp nests at the top of the arches. They reduce the beauty of the photo but add life to a tomb. As you walk around the place you may occasionally trip over one or two young lovers courting. Lots of nooks for hiding. Well worth seeing.

While much of the focus in Agra is rightly focused on the Taj and the Fort, this Tomb was my personal favorite. The architecture is much more intimate and personal. The faded murals and paintings inside the tomb were a real gem.

This place is also called Baby Taj. Of course nothing is comparable to the Taj mahal, but this can be counted as one other attraction in Agra.

It is a well maintained place and the tomb is still in a very good condition. It takes more than 40 min of journey through the congested roads of Agra to reach this place.

This beautiful garden tomb is rarely visited by tourists, which is a shame, as it provides a great beauty without all the hassle of the Taj Mahal.
The site of the tomb includes an impressive entrance gate which leads to the rectangle tomb itself.
The tomb is made of white marble and beautiful inlay shapes.
The site also provides a spectacular view of the river and its other bank. While the river is polluted, it's still a lovely view, so do not miss a visit to the gate located only meters from the river's bank.
An hour should be enough for exploring the entire site.
