A friend suggested downloading an audio tour called iTajPlus (free download) from Apple store which I carried in my iPhone when I visited Taj last year. I must say the historical facts in the audio tour along with the interactive display made it a truly memorable one. My many earlier visits to Taj have not been that great thanks to the weird and sometimes hilarious description of places given by the tourist guides who roam around in the monument.
The monument is truly magnificent and one can imagine its beauty on full moon night. A living example of inlay carvings of precious and semi precious stones in marble which is hardly seen anywhere else.

We had a sunset view but the weather was smoggy, fortunately the next day was a clear one.
What a view, what an experience, takes your breath away.
The history surrounding it, is so sad but beautiful
So peaceful, well kept, easy to get around
Not to be missed if you see nothing else you need to see this.
Camera's a must

After seeing pictures of this monument for my whole life, I was still unprepared to experience it's beauty first-hand. Yes, there were a lot of people there, but the building and outbuildings are stunning. One small tip: If a helpful gentleman offers to show you "best" spot for a photo, he is not just being friendly and helpful! He is expecting a tip. So, if this makes you uncomfortable, politely decline the offer.

I paid 750Rps to visit this wonder of the world and it is worth it. So breathtaking to admire its beauty and its surroundings. It is crowded and you need to wear shoe covers before entering the building and you go through a security check. We took great sunset photos especially after the crowd had dispersed.

Of all the hype that everyone says about this location some of the palaces resource such as the city Palace and castle and Jaipur and Jodpur, this is a bit of overhyped. That said you cannot visit the area and not visit. It is really worth it.
