I enjoyed my stay at this resort even though I had a problem because the service and food were excellent. I felt pampered by the staff and enjoyed the quality furnishings. I took advantage of the free internet/computer offered in the Business Center. The restaurant staff gave me special treatment and explained the various Indian dishes and proper eating/combination of Indian cuisine. My problem was a dirty sheet and I don't know why it wasn't changed. When I contacted reception about this, they were horrified and immediately sent housekeeping staff to rectify my problem. Additionally, they called to followup to ensure the problem was corrected.

best food everrrrr ( best breakfast and best dinner in allll india )
but The plan of the hotel is quite complex. It is not easy to find your room or dining saloons without help....
The Jaypee is removed from the real chaos and hustle around the Taj Mahal - set in an enormous garden complex, it is peaceful and green.
if u want to buy gifts from agra i recommend to buy from the shop in the hotel, u will find good price and good quality ...

+ves

+ Staff was co-operative and nice
+ Reception and dining area was great looking
+ Swimming pool, bowling alley, snooker, children play area and discotheque was good

-ves
- Rooms had good view, but did not match up to the standards of reception etc
- There was smell of dampness in rooms
- Food was over-priced and tasted average (Actual worth would have been close to 60% of actuals charged)

This was the vision of the American imagination of the India experience. Historical Elegance and grace. Be sure to try the "Cafe". It is unlike the American term and offers great food and finer dining than the American 'term'.

Its a huge hotel but you don't feel smashed by it.
The rooms were great, the shower was good, but a friend of mine complained about the cleanness. I only stayed for a night but it was a good experience.
The best breakfast in India so far
