Another hotel that could be anywhere in the west, but we were here for the sights and spent little time in the hotel. The pool looked inviting, but had no time to try it out. The restaurant was fine, as was the coffee shop. Just not very inspiring and geared to mass tourism.

Booked 2 rooms for 2n/3d. Got excellent rate.
Had been well taken care of, staffs are excellent.
But falls short on certain basic parameters like had to ask for pen/pencil in the room. Also when asked for additional driniking water (they provide 1 ltr of package water everyday), it has been provided in an used bottle of Aquafina.
In house dinning is good with live Ghazal bein performed, but breakfast spread is not impressive and repeatative.
Overall a good experience

I planned a surprise for our anniversary to take my wife to Agra.
The hotel is right in the center of the market yet very peaceful. Costa Coffee & Pizza Hut are right next to it and make up a good choice to hang/ dine out since there aren’t many good restaurants in the city.
Check in hardly took 5 minutes. Breakfast was good and quite tasteful. Rooms were nice and clean and the hotel staff was warm and helpful. We stayed there for 2 days and enjoyed every bit of it. And yes the TAJ was magnificent. The only downside was that they had some problem with wifi and it wasn't working .

The hotel is really excellent. Attractive rooms, amazing food, nice location made it a memorable time for me.
Located in Taj Ganj, this hotel has been given a royal touch with the architectural and the aesthetical usage. The food is good; quite expensive but worth it. The front view opens ...

My room was large and well decorated but had a floor that wasn't especially clean and rugs that hadn't been vaccumed in days. The bed was confortable, the shower was good and complimentary bottle mineral water was provided daily.

The safe in the room didn't work and I asked for it to be fixed but no-one turned up until my tour guide asked for me. Others in my tour group had similar problems with the safes.

The room was warm with the heating on but it got so noisy I had to turn it off. I was then woken by the call to prayer at 6.00 am on both mornings.

Whilst the room was mosquito free the public areas weren't so make sure you cover up or you will get eaten whilst you eat!

The buffet breakfast was cold from sitting out, even only 30 minutes after it opened, offered little choice and was of poor quality. I would recommend getting an omlette cooked by the friendly chef - at least that was fresh and hot.

The evening meal however was the best I tasted on my trip to India - I ordered a-la-carte and was very impressed. Avoid the icecream though - I think it was probably this that gave me the dreaded 'Delhi belly'!

In 20 minutes you can walk from Mansingh Palace to the Taj Mahal. The rooms are a little bit overpriced, but they are very nice. The bed is splendid. You'll sleep very good! The bathroom is excellent! And it is very clean! The room itself is spacious. The breakfast was okay, but not so good. The restaurant was a little bit unpersonal. Overall a good hotel!

We arrived at the Mansingh for one night in order to see the Taj at sunrise. Impressive lobby area. Unlike many, more expensive hotels that we had stayed at, the rooms were clean- they even had clean polished mirrors, vert rare!

We chose not to have dinner at the hotel as the children were feeling deprived or fast food, so we headed to Pizza Hut next door followed by a very welcome Costa Coffee....

I was disappointed that as so many guests were up early the next morning to see the Taj that early morning tea and coffee was not offered. Breakfast upon our return was disappointing- we headed back to Costa for a decent coffee.
