While travelling along India, our travel agency booked us rooms in different hotel chains; some domestic and quite picturesque, others were average well-known resorts; like Radissons.
Trident hotels stand out for their consistent quality; properties were nicely kept with beautiful gardens and inviting poolsides.
The rooms were decorated simple but pretty. Expect comfy beds & loveseats.
TV, AC and internet all work adequately.
The businees center is open around the clock.
Back up for ocassional power shut downs works efficiently.
The restaurants provide a variety of dishes: local, spicy, curry tasting entrees, as well as other (mostly chicken based) options for foreigners. Buffet meals were satisfying. If dessert is not of your liking, ice cream is provided upon request! (Happy face!)
Beware of plenty of mosquitoes at the garden terrace.
The Taj Mahal is a few minutes away. Tour guides usually set a 5:30 am departure for you to access the Wonder at dawn. Don't pout. It's soooo worth it.
