Stayed for one night, hotel was best stayed in in India by a long way, and cheap too, under £50 without breakfast. Rooms immaculate, with view over pool, food excellent, handy for sights railway station etc. Staff couldnt do enough for you.

This hotel was above our expectations and was one of the best hotel stays in my life. Situated in a misreable though full of attraction city, this is a perfect escape from the chaos outside and gives a sense of luxary without being pretentious. I must admit it looks better in real life then in the pictures. Room was spacious and pleasant. Service was excellent. We arrive at 2 am after a long drive from Delhi and we were welcomed nicely. room service was available even at that late hour and it was just great. The only disadvantage was that it was difficult leaving this fine hotel and we definitely felt the stay was too short.

After seeing Agra, it was a relief to arrive at the Trident Hilton. It is not right next to the Taj but it is very nice to have a little distance from Agra's bustling streets. I found a great deal on Hotels.com. It was more expensive than some hotels but really worth it to have a reliable hotel. The service is very good. Lovely reception staff. Perhaps because I was a woman and traveling on my own, they took extra good care of me. The food was good. There was a little problem with ordering breakfast for early in the morning (make sure you book it using the card in your room as it is handled separately from other room service), however the staff fixed everything quickly and well. I very much recommend staying here.

Very good bargain. Rooms clean, nice pool, very peaceful and close to the Taj Mahal. Strongly recommend anyone going to see the mausoleum to stay there.

We were not sure if to book here or at the Sheraton that was a little bit more expensive. We finally decided for the Hilton, mainly because both seemed nice hotels and the price was better here. We thought, with a Hilton nothing can go wrong. We were right! It was an oasis in the chaotic Agra!!! We arrived and felt like flying. Clean, modern, extremely professional staff. I told them we were celebrating our anniversary and found a cake in our room after dinner. It was a very important detail for us. The food in general was excellent. The pool was very nice and the bedroom and bathroom were excellent too! Maybe the only problem was that at night it was a little noisy since we could hear all the surrounding noises like the neighbour's doors opening and closing. Bring to India some ear plugs, is the best advice to have a nice sleep, many hotels are very noisy. But for all the rest the Hilton was an excellent hotel, excellent price, we really really enjoyed our time here. Book it without a doubt!
