We stayed overnight in Agra with my 2 little girls and spouse. We arrived around 7.30 pm and the check in was breeze. It is located almost the end of bustling fatehbad road and very calm. The entry is so grand and you will feel you are in a palace. The interiors and the lights will take you completely out of a hotel environment. Great job...

We were served with a juice on check in and they provided us a room (tansen court) conveniently closer to the breakfast. All the fountains, lights were lit during the night. We saw the price for breakfast which was damn expensive, so we decided to take a tuk tuk opposite to the hotel and went for a dinner outside. (they are some great restaurants in that road). The room is decently sized and the entry to each courtyard is something you have to experience. Next day we had breakfast after our taj visit. The spread is great...We have no compliants and we were served with range of foods i.e South, North Indian to Continental, Chinese..

In the morning when you walk up there were no fountains, no lights, it looks like a Vegas syndrome..

We will surely visit this place again.

We stayed at some pretty high end hotels in India and around the world, and this easily was one of the best we have experienced. The staff was exceptional, the rooms were absolutely gorgeous, and the hotel itself beautiful. As another reviewer pointed out, the layout of the hotel and the grounds were breathtaking. We were told the owner himself worked with the architect and the designer to ensure everything was perfect, and his attention to detail was evident in everything. The rooms ( we had two) were beautifully decorated. The toitetries were unique - the bottles had that old world charm in their presentation. The beds were super comfortable. Room service took about 10 mins to deliver the food. We had dinner and breakfast at one of the restaurants. The food was good, the service outstanding. The staff was efficient, attentive and they made sure they took the time to address our needs.
Truly a great stay and I would gladly recommend this for anyone - this is also a family friendly hotel - we had two boys and they loved the grounds and the ability to run around. The location is not exactly proper Agra but that should not be a deterrent.

When booking hotels for our trip to India we encountered this one our first thought was: "There must be some mistake, it is not an hotel, it is some monument!" But this miracle proved to be true. To say that the panoramic view of this hotel impresses - is to say nothing. It is a palace! But... nothing is perfect. Well, I'll start with to my mind the main drawback - the breakfast buffet quality. It is definitely the worst breakfast buffet I encountered during my trip through India. City of Agra suffers from water shortage that is why the water running from the tap has a salty flavour and may be that is why coffee they serve at breakfast is the worst I have ever tasted. We did not even had breakfast on the second (and last) day of our stay. After more close scrutiny the gorgeous appearance of the hotel-palace comes to be a bit shabby, perhaps due to the climate of India. During the night the electric power turned off several times and air conditioner stopped working for a few minutes. As for the restaurants - keep in mind, they a not at all cheap! Pakhtoon serves fine food and has a first-class appearance, but dining there we were the only people in the hall! May be other guests were discouraged by the prices they saw in the menu. As for dinner buffet served in the open air (Mahro Gaon), that was as expensive but not so tasty as at Pakhtoon. And the last but not the least - beware of moscitoes when dining in the open air and always keep the door of you apartment shut! They are evil!

I stayed in this hotel with my wife and kid.
To start with they have wonderful property with amazing stone works.
If you are traveling with small ones you will appreciate that they have separate play area for small children. A nice well maintained pool and restaurant with village theme.
Staff is courteous and very friendly. On 2 occasions I requested chef for special item and he produced wonderful dish.
I will highly recommend this hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel with all the modern facilities of a 5 star hotel and also has old world charm. The Work done on marble using gold is beautiful. It looks beautiful with colourful fountains in the garden. The swimming pool is big and nice.Staff is courteous.Food was good.It is costly but you do expect it to be costly.surprisingly I had a ironing board in the room but no iron.

Room Tip: Our room was next to garden as well as swimming Pool and had an excellent view.

From pictures and advertising it looks like an amazing hotel - its states it is 5 star. Yes the building it self looks picturesque...but..you go to a hotel for its comfort and service. For comfort it is well below standard. And service - well they have no idea what this means. I will give you one of the many examples:

- Check in was not as straight forward as it can be. Once we were in the room, we had no hot water in this 5 star establishment (2 rooms had the same issue). If it was a regional issue in Agra then we should accept it, but they sent some engineer to fix it - simply by running the water (no idea how that fixes an issue). Then every 30 mins, the duty manager (Sugandh Ahuja and Gagan Nagpal) said that water will be hot soon. After 5 hours it was not even close to hot and as we were angry we called them to do room. They felt the cold water an said - it is hot now!!! When I disagreed they said give us more time!!! I was very ill and felt worse after a cold shower - which the hotel were aware off!

Then expecting the hotels promises to materialis we tried the shower in the morning the next day. Same issue - this time I got the new duty manager Sandeep Rawat to come to my room. He felt the water and told me it was hot (it was not even luke warm). I had kept a cup of kettle boiled water ready for him to dip his finger in! He confirmed that Wyndham should alway be providing water as hot as that from the kettle. Sandeep Rawat even agreed that Wyndham had taken me for a ride and that they had hot water issues which whey were hiding from the beginning!
Instead of Wydham staff using thier brains to help us - I decided to use the kettle and boil my hot water to have a bath - that is how bad it gets (pics attached - on my holiday!!!)

This is just one of the issue - 100% of the problems in this hotel is communication, customer service issues and lies.

I you book this hotel, ensure you keep a tab on the duty manager to deliver since all other staff will take you for a ride.

This is not even 2 Star - we stayed in 10 hotels during our trip to India - and this would be the worse hotel possible!

Room Tip: They are building a new section overlooking the taj - but it looked very low quality. There are seve...
