Go to the elephant rescue centre. You can feed elephants some bananas. The mahouts are patient. Please donate even a little money as this goes to feed for the elephants.
Good work at the Bear Rescue Centre. Keep it up. Thank you for educating us.

I just spent a week volunteering at Wildlife SOS Agra working with the Sloth Bears and elephants. What a great learning experience, one that I will cherish and remember forever. Thanks Wildlife SOS and all of the amazing staff and animals!

I hd never heard f this place. Luckily i stumbled across its website while looking for tourist places in and around Agra.We decided to visit this bear rehab center. Got in touch with one f the officers there n booked a guided tour fr ourselves. Wr wre charged rs 2000 fr a guided tour fr 90 min whereby we wre taken to all the cages and areas where the bears lived. We wre also told abt the pathetic conditions f the sloth bears before being brought to the rehab centre.
Since we hd gone in the month f june , it ws extremely hot and most f the bears wre found sleeping bt we did see a few f them awake. All f them had names and responded when called out.
Do not go in hot months as the heat spoils all the fun. Plan a visit when the weather is good so that u r able to explore the sur sarovar bird sanctuary also along wd the bear rehab centre.
Overall it ws a good experience. Hats off to the people there !!

I volunteered at Agra Bear sanctuary for two days on my trip to India. It was amazing to see these beautiful animals safe after their life as dancing bears. Wildlife SOS have managed to rescue all the dancing bears in India and their hard work can be seen by how good the bears look and live now. The staff and keepers at the sanctuary are so helpful, informative and dedicated. Even if you don't volunteer to help it is worth just a visit if you are in Agra to see Taj Mahal. Was one of the highlights of my trip.

We visited recently and had a lovely guide called Prat, he was extremely informative and engaging. Was a bit hot when we went so lots of the bears were feeling the heat too!
We didn't get to see the elephants as it is a bit further away but if the workers there were as nice as at the bear facility then I presume it would be amazing.
Take time out to visit if you can!
