This has to be the best Indian restaurant in Agra. The Food is exceptionally good and for tourists visiting India and missing the Bukhara experience at the ITC Maurya in Delhi, we strongly recommend a meal at the Peshawari at ITC Mughal, Agra. The service is efficient and warm and the overall experience is extremely memorable. The Dal Peshawari is our favourite and while everything at this restaurant is outstanding, for first timers we recommend you consult the service staff before ordering....they will always advise you the best they have basis your likes and dislikes.

Expensive but excellent mouth watering food. Must try lamb leg, the platter, some kababs and the signature dhaal for sure. Avoid the drinks. Just eat as portion size is nice. Avoid indian breads also as this will save your appetite for main dishes.

Foreign Foodies....here...yes. I (very) rarely recommend a restaurant located in a hotel but this is an exception.

We ate here twice. The first time, the room was busy and we were able to have the kitchen make us up a sampler kabob platter with three types of lamb, prawns (more similar in size to slipper lobster tails) and chicken two ways. Fantastic dal Mahkani and OMG ***butter naan*** get the butter naan.

The second time we ate there we with dal, butter naan and (apparently a signature dish) the murgh kari a curry made with tender tandoori chicken. (were still stuffed)

Foodies - this restaurant is (very) expensive by Indian standards. Not so much by western standards. If you can convince the kitchen to make you a tandoori sampler, you will remember it for a long time. The butter Naan (tossed flat, coated in butter folded in thirds and re-flattened) is not to be missed.

In a city where all natives and most migrants are vegetarians, this is a welcome bliss for anyone looking for a bite of non veg. The prices are a little steep but you won't be sad about it at all. The chicken is soft, well marinated. Try the chicken lollipop.
