The church was built in 1831. Located at church hill junction, it's just about a km from the city. One of the oldest csi churches in india

British built this cathedral, nice location, especially the underground part of it. Very peaceful inside, Lord Jesus paintings beautifully portrayed. Cool climate, fantastic weather.

I had seen this Church in many of the TV shows and it seemed very popular too. What I really like about the Church is its location. The timing our Visit was also perfect. The Church was empty and there was only a guard at the door. I went inside the church and clicked a few pictures.

It has very beautiful wooden work and the wood to construct the Church is believed to have been brought from one of Tipu Sultan’s palace. Just behind the church you can see tall trees rising up which gives a pleasant scenery to look at.

The Church is simple and pristine.

With highly polished brass plates around the walls and stunning stained glass windows, this church reads like a 'who's who' of Ooty: so peaceful, so lovingly maintained! We met the reverend. He was quite a character and more than eager to chat. He took us into his side office and showed us the board listing every Reverand since the church opened. Well worth a visit, even if just to see how cherished the church is here.
