“Expensive but good to stay in Ooty”
Reviewed May 6, 2014

This was by far the most expensive hotel we have stayed in. The service, the location and the activities were very nice. The farm has a few fields of vegetables, has some animals such as horse, ducks etc. The kids liked riding on horses. The nights cab become cold. We had to park the car in lower parking area and had to take a army jeep to reach the farm. Good experience over all.

Room Tip: All rooms are similar and have outdoor open balcony from where we can see the lake.

This place is absolute value for time, MIND & BODY, eyes, taste buds & last but not the least MONEY...the staff treat you like a VIP...good feeling those few days. Have to add every one in the staff team for that matter. what was very unique is the room name - JESSY JAMES...TEMPTING TO VISIT AGAIN. Y spend in lakhs to see SWISS and other foreign land, when nature is in abundance in Destiny Farms...CLEAN...GREEN... what was very interesting is, my husband cell phone never ringed....So all that matters is what u expect out of anything...worth visiting again...

I would recomad to stay there at least for 2-3 days. This place is a complete package, it's attracts children and adults both. It was so soothing to see the sun rise and sun going down right in the middle of forest. The rooms were very cozy , clean and comfortable. So many adventures activities to try, experiencing the farm stay and freshness in the food and air.. loved it! Highly recomdaded to folks who are bored and agitated with office issues, urban life and daily routine :)

We stayed at destiny for a week with our kids. While we enjoyed the nature, spa, Horse riding and the good buffet, our kids were enjoying fishing, carrot plucking, Horse riding, Karoke, Glass painting, Swinging, Rope walking. They had many games and in afternoons played Kids movies. Above all this I definately have to remark the courtesy extended by Ms.Mahalakshmi. My husband had cough when we reached there. Suddently she got us Honey with pepper and Tulsi Juice. I was really touched as we never asked for it. The managers Mr.Santha Kumar and Mr.Satheesh were very kind and courteous. I never saw them angry or rude to anybody. They extended the same smile and courtesy to kids.We had a very remarkable and memorable time in Destiny.

Initially we were skeptical to stay for 5 Nights and we were a group of friends with families. But as we were about to Check out , there was sudden depression among those who were so attached, including my little one.

When you are close to nature, you u are bound to be sharing few insects , but the best part was the hotel had special glue to attract and clip those small insects entering the room, and if you switch off the door light, you can be away from those small flies which get attracted to light by night.

The house keeping staff really made us feel at home, even baby sitting while we have our lunch/dinner without any expectation.

Service Team willing to do anything, if you can make a request with a smile.

front office Sanjay, exceptional service and is never tired.

The GM, clearly had his influence among his team and since we were from the hospitality industry we could clearly differentiate the Hospitality with a genuine smile against a Plastic one.

Food was good, and Chefs willing to go the extra way to ensure you don't miss your home.

I will surely go back again, and our kids had a wonderful time without TV for a week.

Thanks Once again.....To all those who made our stay memorable ......

Room Tip: No shops nearby, so do carry items which you may need

Destiny is a Safe, Clean and Beautiful Place. Me, my family and friends totally 16 of us stayed for six days holidays at Destiny Farm. The place is much beautiful than it appears in all websites. It is surrounded by many hills. Having your morning tea and watching the hills silently would give you a great start. The place is well connected with pure oxygon and pleasant people in the resort to help. Santha Kumar, Mahalaxmi, Satheesh are very reliable and positive people who genuinely smile every time and also really help when you are in need. Our kids enjoyed all the six days and having fun with horse ride, glass paintings, karaoke, fish catching, etc.

Room Tip: There is no shops around, so carry whatever you require.
