We booked at the last moment, so we had to pay desperation prices of Rs. 7500/night plus taxes, for poorly kept colonial bungalow in remote Coonoor that too in Monsoons. I had better price-value ratio anywhere in this world. Rooms are OK, but look old, furniture even older. Wash room is decent, but beds are super comfortable. Best part is the front lawn, which is well managed. But food is really bad, everything taste like tangy ketchup, be it chicken or paneer. Even breakfast was not great, definitely not to the standards of Taj.
