Stayed for two nights. Characterful old Haveli well located. Airport pick up and transfer via electric tuk tuk was very smooth on arrival. Good service, breakfast and clean room. Hotel arranged onward car to Jodphur via Ranakpur. Cost of which was slightly higher than elsewhere but more convenient.

Place is immaculately designed with the touches you’d expect in a hotel 5 times the price. This includes the service with Toofan in particular at the great sunset rooftop bar offering fabulous service and pouring great gin & tonics!

Good location with easy access to most of the sightseeing places. A little bit noisy with the room having windows over the street. The rooftop is amazing with a 360 view. Breakfast is excellent with fresh fruit juice. The sunset with a glass and the dinner are also excellent. We went upset for departure as the hotel requested us to retreave money from ATM to pay our stay (4 nights). The argument was that our 2 debit cards were not working. This was not true as cards from other tourists were not working too! Get a second Payment Terminal!!

Fabulous little hotel just in the old area of Udaipur, but away from “tourist central”. The location is very convenient, just a short walk to the Palace and lake front. The restaurant has views of the Lake District and Udaipur.
The rooms, whilst small are well appointed and comfortable. The haveli has been restored well, and not full of gaudy colours we have experienced elsewhere. The roof top restaurant is very comfortable, although we only had breakfast here the food was fresh, clean and very nice.
Travellers with difficulty climbing stairs and /or walking distances, not for you. No lifts, and no car access to this area of Udaipur.
The staff are very accomodating and made our stay comfortable.
Highly recommend the Madri to any westerner looking for a niche little hotel in Udaipur.

Stayed at Madri Haveli 2 nights with my family and was satisfied with everything. Standard rooms are a bit small but for this rate it is totally acceptable.
The hotel is quite calm while located in really buzzing streets, which is pleasant.
Friendliest staff and great food too!
