Description: This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying the relationship between food, taste, health & the environment. They re-created vegetarian recipes by using alternative grains/millets such as Amaranth, Ragi, etc that are gluten-free & highly nutritious, and made tasty cookies, shakes & desserts that are also vegan. Their delicious salads are washed with filtered water and Indian tacos / chapatti pizzas are quick, tasty snacks. They also offer a full Indian food menu that is organic & tastes incredible. Their juices are made with really fresh vegetables & fruits. The restaurant is situated near the lake with awesome views of the lake, old temple with monkeys & parrots, and of city palace from the 2nd floor. The first floor has mattresses & low-height tables to sit & eat in traditional Indian style. The food is cooked from fresh raw materials so it takes 10-20 min more than usual, and the serving staff communicates which menu item will take long time.

“Incredible food and excellent service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 28, 2013 via mobile

Whilst in udaipur this place was recommended to us by a group of backpackers we met and we were so glad to discover it!
It's ran by four young Indian men, who are extremely lovely and helpful. I was really impressed by their attitude towards healthy food and providing you with delicious meals and great service.
The food is amazing with healthy, organic and CLEAN salads. All their meals are delicious and prepared with less oil, the ingredients are all organic and vegetarian and the staff prepare it using clean mineral water. The teas are delicious, try their pomegranate tea its amazing!
There are two floors; the first has comfy mattresses and cushions to lounge on with books, a tv and a selection of films to choose from, I would recommend 'three idiots'. The second has proper tables and chairs with a view of an old temple where monkeys run around. The service is brilliant with all the guys so friendly and helpful, it's not the fastest service but the food is being properly prepared and tastes great when you get it, so well worth the wait.
Just writing this has made me miss it, sincerely recommend this place it's perfect for everyone.

“Healthy & Tasty Food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2013

We ate here 3 times during our stay in Udaipur. The food just seemed healthy and we loved their fresh squeezed juices!
I believe its all organic, all vegan/vegetarian and not a lot of oil is used like most places.
One dish I wasn't too excited about was the thai curry though as it was very bland. But everything else was tasty.
Service was a bit slow though, so don't go if you're in a hurry.
They have two seating areas - one top covered deck with tables and an awesome view. And the level below that has floor cushions for a more relaxed/cozy atmosphere.
And prices are Excellent at this place too.

“Healthy break from heavy Indian food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2013

As an American who's been traveling India for 5 weeks, finding Millets of Mewar is the best thing that's happened to my digestive system since bottled water. The food is fresh, healthy and correctly portioned. Everything I've tasted from the teas to mains to salads (and I've tried a lot of them) has been incredibly tasty. The second floor has great mattresses to lounge on and read a book, while the top floor has excellent views of the lake. The service has been swift and friendly, and prices are incredibly reasonable (lots of salads and mains around or under 100Rs). If you're craving some healthier Indian fare (no gravy! Less oil!) or some western comforts (muesli and fruit, pancakes, cucumber-mint juice), this is the place.

“Tasty and good”

Very good biological food in a nice place with good staff. We came here of a chance, deciding on walking over the bridge to find somewhere to eat. The Tomato soup was the best we had in India!

“Extremely tasty food, although a bit expensive”

Pizzas and sandwiches here are good. Peaceful location just across the footbridge from the tourist ghetto. Sit upstairs and watch the monkeys in the temple.
