The food was ok, but after paying with two 500 notes we got a lot of small bills as change which lacked 100 rupees. It could have been an honest mistake, but this happens too often in Udaipur to be a coincidence...

O'zen is a multi cuisine restaurant dishing out various mouth watering dishes, pretty close to City Palace. We loved their Kulcha and Paneer Tikka Masala which was just yumm.

We wanted to watch Octopussy whilst in Udaipur and selected O'zen for this purpose. We were also keen to have some Western food and O'zen ticked this box too. While initially a little apprehensive due to the rather extensive renovations in place we made our way past the rubble and into the restaurant. What a fantastic evening we had! The pasta was ok, the pizza was great and the G&T's were excellent ;) It was not busy and we were offered a choice of many movies to watch on their projector screen and we chose instead on Bond to watch Slumdog Millionaire. We had of course seen it before but how fabulous to watch it in India. Our host was just wonderful (I'm sorry but I have forgotten your name - we were the family with the 2 teenagers). Thank you so much for such a great evening - thanks to you our evening at O'zen is one of our holiday highlights :)

We went for lunch. The restaurant was very close to city palace and our hotel. We had biriyani, egg fried rice, naan, chicken curry and banana curry. Banana curry was very interesting while others were very tasty. The staff was very courteous. However, some construction is going on and the entrance is pretty much blocked. Hopefully this will not be a problem for very long. Definitely recommended.

My mother and I ended up at this place for lunch after doing some searching in the area and we were glad that we found it! We were greeted by Pinu and Lalit, whom were very nice and very helpful. However, highlight of our visit to O'zen was the food and beverages, of course. The menu offered a wide variety of both Indian and international cuisines (Italian, American, Chinese, etc) and had both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. I ordered the chili paneer and the green apple iced tea, which was superb! I highly recommend it, even if your are not vegetarian. I have never had chili paneer as tasty as the one here before. And my mother ordered the same thing, however she opted for the chicken option instead of the paneer. She was just as impressed with her food as I was. The only con to the place is that the decor could use a bit updating, but other than that there are absolutely no complaints.
