Had a nice memorable stay at this well kept and maintained property. The breathtakingly beautiful Elephant Fountain was the main show stealer, and the exterior raised many a hope. The staff were courteous and helpful, spread of food good, although the buffet dinner lacked variety, which was made up, by the breakfast, which was the best meal of the day.
What one sorely missed was the lack of any sort of entertainment (other than the same monotonous daily instrumental music) or activities, especially for the kids. Disappointing lack lustre Diwali celebrations, barring a few randomly strewn diyas. Since the Hotel was decently occupied, and that too, by loads of Indian families, the Management should have planned a small firework display, more colourful lighting or anything that added to the festive mood. The ladoos in the room, were thougtful, but didnt quite make up for the dull Diwali atmosphere. Other than that, no complaints and made for a decent stay.More
