We stayed at Ramada Udaipur Resort & Spa for three nights. We had initially thought of moving to another hotel near Lake Pichola, but looking at the scenic beauty around Ramada, we were forced to change our mind. The rooms were clean, and there was a tiny backyard too. Service was prompt. Breakfast buffet could be better. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

thank you for your sweet and short words of appreciation. We look forward to your next visit and would have the Rajasthani cuisine serve to you, and specially the Lal Mass. We are know for our food and service but am sure there is enough room for improvement. If i can be of any further assistance, you may contact me at 'gm@ramadaudaipur.com'

Being a Ramada Hotel, they can do better.

The property is impressive at first sight. Location is not the best in Udaipur. The hotel is located on the outskirts. Rooms are large and well-kept with all amenities.

The private pool, gym and spa are worth a visit.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had the following issues

We paid an advance. This was not accounted for even after reminding them at check-in and night before check out. This delayed our check-out. They had no records of this payment. Fortunately I had a mail copy acknowledging the advance. I cannot imagine what would have happened if I did not have this copy.

Ordered a club sandwich. According to their standard it comes with minced meat and a slice of cheese. While the menu states otherwise. On complaining, we got the impression that they don’t care. The least I was expecting was not to be charged for this but paid in full instead.

Breakfast was not impressive. Have stayed at other Ramada hotels which serve much better breakfast.

Reservation was against the name of the person making the reservation and not in my name. It took me couple of calls and visits to change this. In the meantime, missed one call. The caller was informed I was not staying there.

Overall did not meet our expectations.

We stayed at the Ramada for two nights in August. Initially we were quite impressed with the location and overall appeal of the hotel;however, first impressions can be deceiving. The following were issues that we encountered during our stay.
1) on two separate occasions we called for assistance with Internet and laundry and both times the staff hung up on us because they didn't understand what we wanted. We completely understand that language barriers may be encountered while travelling, but if a staff member doesn't understand what is being asked, it would seem more professional to just transfer us to someone who can answer our questions.

2) at the restaurant there are several staff available to help; however, with so many staff available, somehow, very little gets done. During two separate meals, we asked several different staff for water; the first time, it took three staff to get us one bottle of water and on the second occasion, we didn't get it at all.
Just a little tidbit of info: room service is fantastic and you don't get charged a service fee for it

3)we went to the pool and before getting in, we noticed that there were no towels available, so we went to the front desk to inquire as to whether there were in fact pool towels, or whether we should just go up and get some from our room; the front desk told us that they would call someone to bring us towels, so we proceeded to go swimming. An hour later we were still without towels, so we walked back to our room wet.

4) There's not much they can do about it, but the back of the hotel (where the rooms open onto). smells like sulfur.

Overall, this is a great hotel by India standards, however, this is all to say that the price point is quite similar to other hotels in the area where the service you would receive would probably be far superior.

i stayed there in may 13 for 1 night although my program was to stay there for two nights
location: the location of the hotel is ok sort not upto the standards out of the city.
rooms: are spacious with untidy balcony
bathroom: it was tidy but relatively small
pool: neat n tidy it has two pools the one nr. the spa seems to be relaxing n bit private
spa: it is difficult to communicate with the spa girls as they belong to east (burmese) dont know proper english or hindi , it is not worth even to go for spa.
restaurent: service is good but the standard of food is not good it is ok sort. u can find better food in the market, food quality not good few items for vegeterians in bf.
overall property seemed to be like a school property rather than a resort. no welcome drinks. long walking distance to the lift. only thing good there was the service.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Stay was very good and relaxing. Big property, far away from City. Food and buffet was very good. Staffs are very courteous and friendly specially Staffs @ restaurant and front desk. our only bad experience was Check in and check out.. which was very painful and unprofessional. Overall very good stay. :)

Room Tip: Rooms facing Monsoon Palace are quieter and having very good view of Hills and Palace.

I stayed with my family in last week of July. Ramada is a big and beautiful property. It has an altogether different outlook from other hotels. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. we stayed in a cottage and the balcony offered fabulous views of surrounding hills. Food was great and the restaurant staff was exceptional. They made every effort to give personalized service.
Overall a great place to stay and unwind especially if traveling with family or in large groups.
