Considered Venice of East, lake Pichola brings you back to old Rajwada era of Udaipur. Romance is in the air at this place !
The lake is situated about 25 km from the airport and 5 km from the railway station easily accessible by auto. I would recommend to walk on foot and explore the beautiful surrounding around the lake. There are some good food joints around the lake but a bit expensive so prepare to loosen up your pocket.
The disappointing part is Govt. apathy towards the lake cleanliness as the lake banks are getting dirtier with plastic bags, chips packets and cold drinks bottle all floating. We as tourists must take the blame for killing the lake softly. I REQUEST EVERYBODY TO PLEASE TAKE CARE OF OUR HERITAGE.More
