Rooms and hospitality in the main wing is dearly clean with swimming pool. A place called Lazeez Corner is a must try for their chicken curry and tandoori chicken. Not a fancy place but the food is to die for. Place is at a walking distance from Ankur Resort and owned by Vinay Dhiwan. Home delivery is also available. Number is 09828364791

We stayed here for 2 nights in March. The reception area was impressive and airy but the staff didn't really speak English and then just pointed in the direction of our room. It was average, not terrible but certainly not imaculate and comfortable. The bathroom was similar and not very clean. Unfortunately we were the only room on a corridor which wasn't a part of an Indian family reunion so we were kept up late and woken up around 5am both mornings as they held little meetings outside our room. They offer buffet dinners which are plentiful but overly expensive for what they are - NB they don't advertise the price until you check out for these so just check - although the restaurant staff were very friendly. The pool and garden was nice although similar to the rest of the hotel: left with not much care.
Not a terrible hotel but given a lot of the day is spent hanging around before the next safari I'm, sure you can find better, especially at the price.

We had gone Ranthambhore by car from Kolkata, via Baranasi & Jhansi..!! This hotel is very easy to locate. Ambiance is quite good. food & rooms are good too. There's a small but beautiful garden. For it's typical location, most of the times Canter safari starts & ends from this hotel point, causing travelers to choose their seat comfortably.I'd strongly recommend this hotel, as it's best VALUE FOR MONEY hotel in Ranthambhore.

We had a cottage style room which was big and clean. We spent a lot of time in the gardens and by the pool which made a nice change from busy city life. We only came for the wildlife park but would stay again if needed. The only thing that let it down was the timings of food availability and you were subject to a buffet much of the time which made one of us ill. We ended up eating at tiger safari after that episode!

We booked a cottage room in this hotel. Its so average and very dusty everywhere. Its full of mosquitos, door has a big gap and only one lock, no bolts on top or bottom. Bath room was so big, but bath area was not separated, so even if you cleaned your legs, the entire bathroom gets wet. TV - all channels my mom (she did not come to safari) wanted to see are coming in dots and black and white, so she was advised to see only channels which were clear. For mosquitos, they gave allouts, so by the time we slept, they were controlled. Room is not cleaned, its dusty everywhere, I was very annoyed by that.

Food price is exorbitant. Per person its 350, we did not have even 7minutes to have lunch, because our canter arrived. For left over food also, they charged 350 per person. Anyway, dinner I ordered, after talking to 3 people, finally one person said they would provide what I ordered for. Those naans were horrible, not eatable, never saw that kind of naan, curry was ok, but cannot eat it by itself.

Breakfast at 6am, I thought wow, they are really working hard. To our disappointment, there was nothing. We were given 2 options, bread or omlet. We ordered, they came within 10min, but our gypsy came, so again we had to stop eating and go.

On a good note, our driver could stay in the hotel, got the same food at a discounted rate. Anyway, for the money (for one night, I paid 3820) I paid, its not worth, that's why I don't recommend this hotel for this price.

My partner and I stayed at the ankur resort for 3 nights. We stayed in the main hotel and was wowed by the entrance hall. The staff were helpful and attentive. Anything we wanted was sorted from safari's to mosquito repellant cream. Misteram ( sure I'm not spelling that right but think Mr Ram ) brilliant!!! Anything we wanted he got, above and beyond good service. We also saw two tigers on our safari but would suggest to anyone going take the jeep not the canter. For the extra 500 rupees it's really worth it. Great stay and wonderful staff

Dec 2013, we went to Ranthambore with extended family members. We were 24 people together and stayed in this resort for 3 nights. Rooms are decent, with good lawns. Although we had to struggle to get good rooms all nearby. Resort staff need to be chased a lot for get the service. Suitable when large student / office or family trips.
Although upon request resort did arrange bonfire and some Rajasthani music & dance one night for our group. Staff although polite, but chase you down for tips without much service attitude.
Standard menu for breakfast ,lunch & dinner.. a la carte orders are difficult to get on time.
Some of the cottage rooms are at distance in the back yard of the hotel, avoid those rooms unless you are looking for solitude.

Room Tip: Choose rooms in the front side of the resort, near the pool, although some of the rooms are very sma...
