Zone 3, Zone 4 & Zone 5 are good for sightings. Zone 2 is bit hill terrain. Also get on board of Gypsy, don't take the canters

“Ranthambore - Did you sight a tiger in the Sanctuary !!!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2013

Just watch the timings of the Sanctuary. Enjoy watching deers, parakeets, chitals, owls and any other animal except the king of the jungle. He has his own will. Maybe the Sanctuary should understand that viewers have come to see the tiger only.

“Should have more wildlife soon”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

The area where this sanctuary is located had a lot of villages till sometime back. However, those villages have now been relocated outside the sanctuary and this could become a really good wildlife habitat if properly maintained. There are few natural waterholes here but the forest department have made some artificial waterholes to compensate for that and now there are a decent number of tigers in this part of the forest.
