We chanced upon this place online as we were trying to make a last minute booking for a last minute planned trip for our anniversary. We wanted a nice home stay and not a majestic hotel. This looked and sounded good. We were also aware that there were no reviews.
But it turned out to be one of the best home stays ever. Usha and her husband were more than nice and offered help at every stage. (Even small things like: They were kind enough to leave water with our safari vehicle. Offered to keep dinner when we reached late on arrival).
The rooms were very tastefully done and kept clean. Property is cosy and they would play light instrumental music on the lawns in the evening. Amazing well maintained infinity pool facing the mountains. Well located as well.
We had most meals here itself. It was simple, home style, tasty and healthy complete meals.
Not a thing to complain about.
The name the place carries has a legacy attached to it and those who understand that will appreciate an opportunity to experience it. The property is run by the family of legendary Fateh Singh Rathore. My friend; a wildlife filmmaker and I stayed there for two nights. The rooms ate tastefully done angry the pool is exceptional. The view from poolside are the best in Ranthambore. I loved the warm hospitality of the staff who are take care of you as house guest with warmth and smile. Being a bed and breakfast we ate our other meals outside but simple meals can be provided on request.
