“Good trekking”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

1. Parshuram mahadev's murti and gaumukh are both svahambhu i.e. naturally formed. this is the basic reason of people's faith. this can be approached from both mewar and marwar side.
2. from kumbalgarh it is approx 5km. 1.5km trek down to temple. the forest around is very scenic and green. sitafal grow in plenty and could be found easily.
3. it is suggested to visit the temple early morning so that the trek back is not strenuous.

“Difficult to Reach”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

To reach the Parshuram Temple, you have to take a 15 km detour from Ranakpur and then trek for 2km uphill. The trek itself is not bad, but the sheer masses assembled there, put us off the plan of climbing up to the cave.

The only reason I am writing this review (even though we weren't able to visit the actual cave/temple) is because there are no details available for this location on tripadvisor and I hope this information can help anyone else planning their trip.

There is also a route from the Kumbalgarh side, I'm not sure if that is shorter. This route does not connect with the Sadri/Ranakpur route (googlemaps might say that you can drive across, but that isn't the case) for driving purposes, but you can walk between the 2 routes.
