I and my partner stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. This hotel is situated at 7-8 kms from Jodhpur an auto rikshaw will take 100 bucks or a bus no. 1 for 10 rs. The locality is not that good nearby. Nearby attraction is the mandore garden which is worth a visit.
Stay in this hotel was best part of the trip.

PROS:
there is a long list of that...
1. Very comfortable, big and clean rooms
2. Hotel is pretty cheap regarding its standard
3. Food is awesome go for Indian thali. 1 is enough for 2 persons
4. very nice and peaceful environment.
5. People who run this place are awesome "very polite, ready to help and discuss about jodhpur"
6. 3 dogs were like a cherry on the cake. "A, PEPSI AND HAPPY" played a lot with them.
7. Its like home away from home.
8. A space provided in front of each room so that you can enjoy ur food.

CONS:
1. No TV in the room.
2. No telephone service but that is not a big issue as all is located nearby.

In short GO FOR IT...

Room Tip: Ask for a room with TV if u want

Clear big rooms in a cottage garden. Peaceful, shady, the best place for refreshing after a long journey. It's very close to the Mandore Gardens, but a little bit far from the city. Use ricksaw or taxi to get in the city. There's a little square at the main entrance of the Mandore Gardens, with some vendors around. Don't miss the chili pakora there!

Room Tip: Check the rooms at the end in the garden. Best for those who want to find some romantic place.

It's a bit off the city limits. But served a great purpose for us, as we were visiting the nearby National Law Univ. The approach was bad. But the place offered authentic Rajasthani ambience. Rooms and facilities were good, for the price. Food and services were acceptable. You get good connections to the place (autos are always available) to move around.

Room Tip: Take a large room, move around in the gardens. You will feel at home

Like other reviewers, we chose this hotel because it was away from the hustle and bustle of the town and it was truly an oasis. Lovely, quiet landscaped gardens which are a haven in the daytime and evening. We had our own little "bungalow" type accommodation, with a large bed, very modern bathroom and a good hot shower. Our nightly quiet beers, sitting round a 'camp' fire whilst awaiting dinner were just what we needed after a busy day. The vegetarian food was very good, freshly cooked to order and we thoroughly recommend the masala omelette for breakfast. The staff were some of the best we found in India - very attentive, spoke good English and were very helpful in giving us information for our local visits and onward journey. Thoroughly recommended and we hope to return on our next vsiit to India

We stayed for just one night at mandore guesthouse but highly recommend it.
It’s located near mandore gardens around 10-15mn from the center which is nice because I found central jodhpur too chaotic and the guesthouse seemed like an oasis. An autorickshaw should cost around maybe 60-100 rs
It’s a family run place and has a heart as they organize volunteer work in villages and are starting a mobile library.
If you stay for a week or more I think you could ask to volunteer with them.
The people seemed nice and trustworthy. For example they couldn’t find my booking as I had booked directly by email months in advance but gave me the room I wanted and at the end instead of asking me to paying the ongoing rate they asked me to check in my email from their computer the amount I had been quoted so that I paid what was quoted initially which was a lot less than the current rate. I know that a lot of hotels would not have done that.
My favorite thing about the place was the beautiful garden which is done up in a very unique way and is very colorful, the bungalows and huts are organized around it. All of the rooms are at ground level with just 2-3 stairs at the max making it easy for elderly people.
There are two types of rooms you can stay in, either bungalows or a few huts at back, we stayed in one of the huts.
Our “hut” was composed of 3 small rooms and had a sitting area outside in the garden, as you enter, the first room is the entrance one with a chair and small table and a safe the second room is directly connected to it and contains the bed, side tables and had an AC.
There’s a door leading to the bathroom which is modern, the shower is separated with a wall so the bathroom stays dry. The decoration of the hut is traditional and we found it very cute. The only problem we had was with the locks to close and open the room which were a bit difficult to manage and we had to call someone to close the door the first time. It’s a guesthouse and not a hotel so you won’t have a TV or telephone in your room but all in all the rooms are comfortable and the service decent and it’s a very unique place to stay in.
It was the best thing about jodhpur for us.
