“Central location, comfortable bed”
Reviewed July 27, 2013 via mobile

I stayed 2 nights and had a good sleep because of a really comfortable matress. Some construction noise from upstairs at 7.30 am though. Nice and clean room and common areas and staff was friendly and really helpful.

Thinking of Rajasthan made me think of the Rajas and Maharanis and Havelis and rich food.
My 1st trip , and I stayed at Krishna Prakash Heritage Haveli , and it turned out to be mesmerizing . The stay had Havelli Touch ,from the rooms ,to the ambience, to the open view and most of all , the Food. !!!

This hotel is worth it just for the view! What a sight to behold over dinner.
The hotel itself is also beautiful, a well restored haveli.
Has a swimming pool, not the largest and covered up, we didnt use it, but looked fine.
Also close to the market and click tower.

Our room was nice with balcony with view of the fort! Large and clean room. Bathroom was fine as well, however was roasting hot like a sauna! Would sweat buckets just brushing your teeth, which was a problem. But AC in the room itself worked fine (as long as bathroom door shut).

We ate at the restaurant for dinner. I had the thali, which was fantastic!
However my partner has a nut allergy, we spent a while explaining to the waiter who didnt quite seem to understand so we spoke to his colleague who had much better English to check which dishes are ok to order and don't have nuts, but when the food arrived she had an allergic reaction and was sick. Luckily her allergy isn't too severe and there only seemed to be nut traces rather than while nuts, so no hospitalisation. Nut allergy is obviously a bit of a problem in India, but we only had 2 incidents in 6 weeks in India and this was one of them.
This is the reason for only 3 stars even though on balance a good hotel.

Would recommend staying here a good hotel (perhaps except if you have a nut allergy).

Travelled June 2013 as a couple, AC room, booked as part of a tour of Rajasthan.

Hi there...
I had been to Jodhpur 2009 with 2 of my best buddies and stayd in this haveli for one nite..We choose this place because it gave the best view of Majestic Mehrangarh fort @ affordable rate..dis one has a nice pool...nice rustic rooms with all modern amenities...Food is served with a smile..the hotel is nice and picturous and is generally frequented by lot many backpackers..
You can walk up to Mehrangarh fort going via the narrow back alleys in about 30 mins(steep)...or walk to neighbourhood marktet to gorge upon mirchi pakodas..do some shopping for Jodhpuri printed bedsheets, jodhpuri lacque bangles..do not foget to enjoy the sunset on top of Mehrangarh fort amongst a series of big n small canoons with sun dipping and the fort casting it's shadow on the Blue cityscape..
In th evening you can dine like erstwhile kings in there roof - top restaurant with the well lit Mehrangarh as the back drop..

Njoy!! :-)

Room Tip: U can try and might get a bargain..prices are although very reasonable...

The hotel was adequate. the rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked well. the shower pressure was low and the hot water was luke warm.

The swimming pool is covered on top and seemed clean.

This hotel is well positioned for the fort and clock tower.

besides being clean, with comfortable beds and functioning shower and AirCon, this Hotel had a welcoming staff and a lovely view from the Mehrangarh Fort just above us! It looked like a small Palazzo with the garden, paintings and mosaics. The food was delicious and the wi-fi one of the best we had during the whole trip!
