What I ordered:
The buffet lunch- 5/10: One potato appetizer. One Rajasthani chakki ki sabji, one paneer sabji, one dal, rice, two types of breads and limited dessert.
Very limited choices with a mediocre taste of all of them.
Ambience: Very modern and casual
Staff: They seem like they don't care. I politely asked for some extra appetizer and the waiting lady rolled her eyes at me and walked away, returned back after a while with a plate of extra appetizer, placed it on the table and left. I tried thanking her but she didn't even acknowledge, rather just ignored and walked off. I mean, is it too much to expect basic human bevaioural aspects?
Service: Again, they don't care. I guess it's just for the people who opt for the buffet, but that, too, is a part of their offerings, isn't it?
Asked for appetizer the first time, took 20 mins to get it.
Asked for extra appetizer, the waitress gave me the kind of look you give to someone when they owe you money.
Asked for naan, took another 20 mins to get it.
Thanked them for serving us, got ignored and popat happened.
Overall experience: Do I really need to comment on that? :P
P. S. When you try out a restaurant for the first time, you don't carry expectations. The food can be good or it can be bad. Doesn't matter, because you chose to give them the benefit of doubt.
But when you've heard and read about a restaurant, which is apparently known for its food and service, you carry expectations. And its really disappointing when they poop on those expectations.
Nothing much to say. Just a suggestion: Please try and be standardized in your approach, be it food or service.
