We were there in Oct 2012.We took a bus from Jodhpur to Osian.Owner's brother personally picked us from Osian town in his jeep.Camp is about 15 mins drive from town.People over there are very friendly, polite and always willing to serve you the best possible.Manohar in particular is very helping.Tents are quite neat.In a desert you are bound to expect some sand in your room also.We go there to experience desert life.
We were taken for a camel ride in the evening. This part of desert, unlike Jaisalmer, is more green and has smaller sand dunes.Sunset view is beautiful when you are on top of dune.Back in the camp, dinner is served outside under moonlight.Awesome!
Next morning, we were taken out for sand dunes and village trip.Enroute you get to see plenty of deers, peacock and the place where salman khan's incident happened. When we were close to dunes, our jeep bumped over a big stone and diesel started to leak.Still we were brought to the main road and another vehicle arranged to drop us back to camp.
Overall, a pleasant experience and worth the money you spent.Bar construction was on.Hope its completed by now.
