“Nice Palace with good collection of things.”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

liked the most....vintage cars, collection of clocks and the 5-6 wall paintings. The palace is well maintained and clean. Collectibles were well displayed and marked. Even the staff over there was polite and offered to guide and tell us about the things in display.

“Unless A Tour Includes It, Skip It”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

Let's leave logistics out of it for a minute. The museum is decently presented but it's terribly small. You can whiz through the whole thing in perhaps 25-30 mins. If you're really into expensive glassware and clocks, perhaps 45. The big draw for me was the car collection. Big disappointment. You peer at them through reflective glass and can see only enough of the front to see they aren't well maintained. And it's only 6-7 cars, some of which are truly crappy European sedans.

Then there's logistics. If your tour includes a visit there, fine, go. Otherwise, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. This place is a long way from anything and if you happen to get out there and fail to pay your driver to wait for you, hold on to your socks. It's going to cost you prob 200-250 for an autorickshaw to the clocktower. They know you can't walk anywhere else, they know they have you by your ears.

And if you have the misfortune to show up with your luggage, they really can't help you. I called ahead and they said, "Sure, we have a place to keep luggage." There's NOWHERE to store it and you can't take it inside so my girlfriend had to sit on a bench while I went inside and vice versa.

In summary, it's a decent small museum but so far out of the way as to make a trip out there feel like a real disappointment.
