We didn't stay here but had dinner and the setting was beautiful. The food was great and the roof top restaurant had wonderful views of the fort. The service was also very good, though it was a bit pricey.
There was also a miniature painting shop in the grounds of the haveli. Some very good work but was overpriced and found similar work much cheaper elsewhere.

Location location location.
Room was ok,shower was a light drizzle, would've been better off washin at the street sink outside by the cows, where everybody else washes themselves.
The rooftop restaurant is the best places to relax in evening, have a few drinks overlooking the city and clock tower area, service wasn't anything to write how about though, some attitudes.
Your paying for location.nice courtyard, especially after the chaos of clock tower market and streets outside.sleep quality wasn't great, you can hear the constant honking from streets outside

The Pal Haveli is a lovely heritage hotel excellently situated at the center of the old town- the location is really great-very close to the clock tower and Sadar market. Our room- the royal heritage room is large and nicely decorated. The bed is firm and comfortable. Shower is good. But the water heater is too small, so impossible to take long shower. Restaurant on the rooftop has spectacular views of the fort, the clock tower and the city. Food is good and tasty, but not exceptional. Service is on the slow side. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

This hotel is ideally located between the lake and the Red Fort and close to Clock Tower .Thre restaurant is excellent and its location on the rooftop is perfect to get the best views of the city .Service is good and the decor is reminiscent of an old mansion
We were there twice during our last trip in Rajasthan and we experienced the best and the worse of the hotel . The first time ,we had two rooms facing the inside court yard ( rooms 101 to 108) . These rooms have been renovated , are bigger and more importantly the noise level is very low .
The second time , we had 2 rooms located on the lake side ( rooms 111+) These rooms are smaller , the furniture is older and they are very noisy because of the proximity to the street .
It makes a HUGE difference ! By the way , they were the same price !

Room Tip: Rooms 101 to 108 are excellent , rooms 111+ are excessively noisy

Interesting set up as the hotel is in a renovated 'mansion'.... it was a bit of a hike from the lobby to our room, with some rather large stairs to navigate, but the rooms themselves were quiet (we had one away from the street), large, air conditioned and beautifully decorated. There was a good wi-fi connection down in the lobby, but it didn't work in our room.

The bathroom was large and the hot water in the shower was great ... but they let themselves down with the fact that the shower curtain was filthy! Almost enough to make your stomach turn as when it got wet, it let black/brown dirt 'escape' into the shower.

We ate at the restaurant that was over-priced but had reasonable food. There was a great view of the city and clock tower from the roof top restaurant. The cocktails were cheap.

Room Tip: Ask for one away from the street

We booked a room here at the last minute when our original accommodation we had booked cancelled on us on the last day.

Great hotel with lovely large rooms, clean and 24 hours hot water. Wifi did not work in the rooms but worked well in the reception area. Hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of the fort. We ate at the restaurant twice and were happy with the food and the price. Breakfast was also good.

We felt it was slightly expensive for what we got but had no problems while we were there.

Coming from the peace and tranquility of the sister hotel Pal Gar we joined the melee of city centre living in Jodphur! We were lucky to be allocated the owner's Grandfather's old rooms which gave views over a busy crossroads gving us a great opportunity to watch the comings and goings of the community and marvel at how many family members can ride a small motor scooter in harmony! The history of this hotel is all around you to see and the owners are very hospitable and keen to share the family heritage. A must is the roof top restaurant; in the cooler evening air lookng out on the most fabulous Jodphur fort, we enjoyed a delicious meal in very relaxed surroundings. Jodphur itself needs to up pull it's socks in the street cleaning stakes but this hotel is really a super place to stay. The reception staff were really friendly and more than happy to help whenever they could.
