Stayed in the resort for two nights in dec 2012.The place is a long drive away from the city centre, right in the middle of nowhere. They only serve veg food no options for non veg at all :(.We had traditional rajasthani food twice during our stay and must admit that although the food was veg it tasted good.Unfortunately we decided to order Chinese one night and it seemed that it was the first time the cook ever tried cooking those dishes and didnot have an idea about what he/she was cooking as it tasted terrible. Why have food that the cook cant prepare on the menu in the first place!!!On our first night we ordered room service and called to ask the staff to come and collect the dirty dishes,we were told that they do not collect dirty dishes, the first time i have ever heard that in a hotel/resort.We had to ring and complain about it after which a waiter was sent to collect the dishes.
The room was a good size and well furnished but very cold and no heaters in place to provide any comfort but the blankets were nice and warm, the only problem was that they shouldnt expect guests to sit bundled up in blankets all day long. They do not even serve drinks on the premises.
The resort looks good but it seems like the staff have recieved no training or uniforms. And need to verify the answer to every question with a senior member of staff. We werent told where the pool or the restaurant was when we checked in,we had to find our way to the restaurant.Still dont know if they do have a pool or fitness area.
The place is mainly used as a wedding venue and seems like the resort is more interested in these guests rather than the non wedding party guests. On our final night there they had a wedding function right out side our window and we had to try and adjust to the noise.
We repent having booked 2 nights in this place when there were several better places on offer. The previous reviews on the basis of which we confirmed the booking were very misleading and i hope that anyone planning to book a room in this resort thinks twice before doing so.
