I booked a cooking class at Spice Paradise after reading about it on TripAdvisor eventhough our tour guide in Jodhpur had "supposedly" not heard of it, which is another story in itself. The reviews are all correct, this is a wonderful place to visit when you're in Jodhpur. Four of us took an evening class with two charming girls from Australia and the six of us had an amazing experience. Yes, it is not a your stainless-steel counter, high tech kitchen, but that's part of the charm. To be with Reika and her family in their home is an integral part of what makes this class so special. Reika is a great teacher, passionate about cooking AND sharing that passion with others. Do heed her advice to come hungry. Besides extremely full bellies, we came away from our class with wondeful recipes, an arm load of spices (the masala chai was the best we had in India), and memories to last a lifetime. Now if they could only get their website up and running, we'd order more of these incredible spices.
