We stayed here last year and only now getting round to reviewing!
The hotel has some lovely rooms which lots of character. It is set in an older property but that truly gives it character. The grounds and gardens are well maintained and provide a small oasis away from the mechanical sprawl of the city beyond.
Food was okay; we were very happy with the meals on offer although I personally am not a fan of a breakfast buffet (prefer it to be cooked to order). This may have changed since we stayed there however. We ate on the roof one evening which was very nice, overlooking to city by candle light.
Location wise it's a couple of minutes in a tuk tuk to get to the centre. Only 30 seconds walk from a main road so very easy to flag down. There is also a very nice bakery next door to the hotel which was worth a naughty cake.
They also sold antiques in a common area upstairs; we purchased a couple of things which have made great keep sakes from our trip to India.
Would certainly stay there again.
