We reached the hotel late evening, and after check in were taken to welcome lounge where we were welcomed with garlands and a welcome drink. The check in was smooth and the management was kind to upgrade us to a suite. the suite is spacious and as we were on ground floor it had a small private garden where one can enjoy tea in the evening. The bathroom is quite spacious with basic but nice toiletries. the rooms are clean and the hotel is centrally located with major tourist attraction nearby, also the famous Gypsy restaurant is just next to the hotel. The staff is very polite. The breakfast is served in the lawns and has a lot of variety of Indian and continental dishes.

I stayed at this property for 2 nights and my my,..i was in for a pleasant surprise. The owners and the staff were very courteous. I had one of the best welcomes i have ever had and not to forget their reception area. It reminded me of being part of a royal gharana. Rooms are clean and relatively spacious. Staff is attentive. Breakfast was OK but the thing that i liked the most was personalised service by the owners. Overall a good place to stay,.. provided you are looking for some old vintage kind of memory with value for money.

Room Tip: Try to take the front upper rooms

This hotel is not very close to the airport. The location is really bad. The so called Heritage property does not believe in offering the most basic services to their guests. They did not even provide a mineral water bottle to its guests. The breakfast was pathetic.. not only in its taste but also in the way it was arranged. However the loos were clean and their was 24 hr wifi internet facility available at the property.

A nice place to stay when based in Jodhpur. Sensitively converted from an ancestral home about 3 years ago and currently owned by the great grandson of the original inhabitant. The rooms are huge and tastefully decorated. The food was OK, but not exceptional, so would recommend that you eat out in the evening as Jodhpur has a lot to offer.

A perfect haveli type atmosphere, the suites are very spacious and the hotel is largely very well maintained. The staff is prompt and courteous and the dining in the Garden is wonderful.

Mr. Trideep was most helpful throughout the duration of our stay, the Village Safari recommended by him was absolutely fantastic!

The location of this property is great, many good restaurants and a bustling market nearby..

Overall a wonderful stay in Jodhpur and looking forward to definitely being here agan!

Room Tip: Stay in the suites, much more comfortable ! Take as much advice, information as you can from Mr. Tap...

Stayed 4 nights here. Hotel has very good management on every single details. Only 14 rooms but all staffs are well trained; good manner and very efficient. Buffet breakfast in the garden or in the high ceiling dining room. Price for foods are very reasonable that you don't need to go out. Pot of tea is extremely good price that you can't resist to take! Ample of outdoor tables and chairs in the garden and roof. Even you want something extra, there's a cake shop and another restaurant just next door. Good wifi network. They also has a computer available at the lobby. The hotel is on the 9th Road which you can walk 3 blocks down for more shops and restaurants between C & D Road. Compare to the guest house in the city, I think the Kothi Hertiage has very good value of monies. Will definitely stay there again.

Yes, it is a stately Haveli turned into a 17 room "boutique" hotel.
Yes, it shows characteristics of Rajasthani semi regal grandeur with a soaring  central hall heavily decorated.
Yes, the guest room is spacious, again fitted with dark wooden furniture, colorful light fitting, multi-colored window pans, etc, etc.
Yet, something didn't feel right.
Although the level of cleanliness of the room was acceptable, once you looked closely at your bed sheets, you saw stains. No, they have gone through the washing, but somehow shadows of old stains remained. Once you have gone to bed, you felt that the mattress was a 2 inch foam underlay and one could feel the wooden board below it.
Breakfast is served in the garden, tables are covered, here we go again, with STAINED table cloths. The offered fare was pathetic and felt quite unhygienic, service was slow by an uninterested staff.
Enough said? Well just to finish off a note about the surroundings:
The brochure and website suggest a mansion in the middle of a beautiful garden. In reality it is a big house, heavily decorated, located on the dusty small city road with cows roaming and piles of garbage just over the fence.
Now, these are the facts, now make up your mind whether you'd like to book with them.
