i had been here with my friends last week.Rooms were clean with the old haveli feels which we enjoyed.
Food was good and the staff was friendly.
Only thing which they can improve is , cleanness in the restaurant.Overall stay was good.

Considering Jodhpur is what can only be called a s**t hole this hotel is fine. The rooms were clean food fine and staff friendly . The only reason I will never go back is because it's in Jodhpur! We enjoyed the roof terrace and quiet yard - the beds were comfortable too

We have back packed through Asia and now half way through India. We have stayed in some pretty average accomodation but this by far takes the cake for the worst. The rooms were dirty, old and crawling with mosquitoes.

We ordered room service and got the vegetable friend rice because we felt like something light. Not only did it taste horrible, I have ended up in hospital with food poisoning, I have been throwing up constantly since 6AM. Please be very very careful what you eat.

Superficially, this has great charm and atmosphere. Built in the 1820s of red sandstone with wonderful stained glass windows, it’s dining area is truly grand, with impressive tiled floors and chandeliers.
However, staying there and eating at the restaurant tells a different story. The place mats are coated with dried food from who knows when, the pile of cups for hot beverages had fungal growth and chipped tops..
The staff are generally good humoured and obliging but sadly hygiene standards let the Kuchaman down badly.
In its favour...a decent location in the old city, close to Sardar Market and the Clock Tower.

Room tip: Choose a room well away from the kitchen to minimise noise.

Not as bad as some of the reviews suggest. Definitely service is slow, restaurant tables are not clean, breakfast has limited options (bread, omlette, upma/Poha, fruits), no great restaurants in and around the Haveli (located in a busy ally).

On the plus side, the Haveli is beautiful. Do stay if you're tired of the boring same old hotels and try something new. The view from roof top is terrific.
