Dhillon house is a home stay cum hotel mix-housed in a residential property, with owner family living in the front and back square having multiple rooms in L shape offering professinal dining service but of course, at a hotel-restaurant rates! That way it is on the expensive side compared to identical facilities at hotels and your idea of budgeting vanishes in the air !
The problem with such a mix is, it is neither homestay type quiet nor having hotel type variety of choices.
For one,the dining-realxing square is so situated that the ground floor rooms can not even keep their windows open with continuous service movement and the guests occupying the chairs just in front not to speak of enjoying a relaxed evening or watching telly.
Secondly , after mornings, availability of water, particularly hot water, is an issue and since we had been in the winter days so it was a difficult situation.
Lastly, the location being a bit far away from the city centre, the outer area has some problem with the transportation accessability.
