“Home from Home in Jodhpur”

I've been using CGH for several years now & keep on coming back - there's a clean room for any budget, good food, an unbeatable view of the fort, an authentic Jodhpur experience (well away from the bus tour hot spots), friendly service and - above all - the rooftop restaurant strikes the perfect balance between having privacy if you want it, or just as easily being able to mix with all kinds of interesting fellow travellers. Whichever idiot wrote the latest LP guide should be shot for not putting the Cosy at the top of the list.

Room Tip: Call ahead and let Joshi know you're coming and how much you want to spend.

Clean & nice decorated rooms. 24/7 hot water (unusual in India). The stuff was VERY, VERY nice: the day we arrived was awful, hard raining and the came to pick us up; also the service is perfect, they are very kind and will help you in any need. We've booked some bus tickets to Udaipur, and they arranged everything, without cheating! Also there is a restaurant on the roof, so good choice, great views and tasty food (amazing pancakes!) We won't forget our stay in Jodhpur, nevertheless the people working at this hostel!! If you are planning a visit to Jodhpur, no more searching, just choose Cosy Guest House.

The nice thing about Cosy is that it is up an alley way and you get some peace and quiet of the crazy city. Its a great place for meeting other backpackers. We met so many people here we kept in contact with for the rest of our time in india. we had a very small room (it was the last one available) but it was cheap and clean. The restaurant was really good and spectacular views from the roof. we liked it!

Great little hotel with one of the best views in India! The staff are friendly and helpful and the simple vegetarian food served on the rooftop was excellent. The hotel is tucked away in the old town and within easy walking distance of the fort. I was only going to stay one day and ended up staying four.

We opted for the cheapest room with a bathroom...it was a few flights of narrow steep stairs up in a very very small room with an even smaller washroom..but very clean. And the view from the attached restaurant is very nice (with good food at fair pricing) . The place itself is a bit tricky to find . And very very blue! Not the best value...but no complaints however I wouldn't go back.

In this trip alone i have stayed twice. The rooms are clean and have good bathrooms. The staff are very helpful and extremely friendly. My favourite part was the location and food, the vegetable kofta rivals the quality of the food at Indiques (for a fraction of the price) while the view of the fort across the blue roof tops of the old city is simply unbeatable. My recommendation is that after a long day of exploring, to have dinner in the cafe before taking a cup of chay or a kingfisher up to the fifth floor, to sit and soak up the beauty of Jodhpur.

We planned a road trip to rajasthan, jodhpur was one of the places, i called cosy guest house to inquire about the room and parking space as we would be travelling by car. Joshiji said there is parking space and told us to book the room on his website,we did as told. But when we reached Jodhpur and called him to ask directions he told us to park the car at the entrance of the hill and than take an auto to the hotel, but when we reached there with great difficulty found that there is no parking space everything was full,so we were really irritated and left the place.he did not help us out with anything nor did he call us back. But when i asked for the refund he plainly refused to give.Very disappointed with the reviews, i found about this place.
