Nice lake can be visited if spending time in Jaisalmer city.
Though city can be travelled within hours and you can move to adjacent areas outside city.

Cute, although nothing special in terms of viewing. Small area from which to see the water. Although I imagine if you rent a paddle boat and go out on the lake itself, it’s probably pretty noce

Do lick a boat ride in this huge man-made lake and appreciate the fine work around the lake, Temples are built inside water itself. Unlike a lot of lakes in India - this one stands out as there are densely populated with a variety of fishes, which proves that this lake has not been used as a dump station like many others in the country. Best time to visit is just before the Sun Set to get the experience for sunset and enjoy the solace.

The Gadsisar Sagar lake is located within the city of Jaisalmer. The lake is sorrounded by some beautiful old buildings and the way to the lake is lined with locals trying to sell their wares. If one is interested one can hire a boat to do boating although the lake is not big.

The lake is a good place to visit. Cleanliness of the lake can be improved. The fishes in the lake come to banks for foods offered by visitors. Didn't go for boat ride so can't comment on the same.
