We were really excited about living inside the fort. There are zillions of hotels, guest houses in the fort so u can bargain!! Most them have either a temple view or the city view or both! The view of the golden city from the terraces is just too memorable and not to mention the sunrise and sunset experiences.
In the middle of the fort, very close to the Jain temple is this small place with just 3-4 rooms run by a family who live in the same property. We initially stayed in the room in the first floor with a city view but on seeing the big room on the second floor we insisted on that room and shifted to it as soooon as it was vacated.
The room was Spaciousssss and had the suite feel with two chairs, a carpet and king size bed. The sitting area at the window over looking the golden city is a good time pass since this hotel is located on the wall of the fort. We enjoyed the sunrise/sunset from the terrace of the hotel. She also does massages but we dint have time for that! The only minus is probably that there is no wash basin in the bathroom.
They dont serve food but there is good restaurant near the "City View Point". The entire fort has small roads barely accessible on bike but it is a nice walk through the small alleys.
