We stayed in Vansh Villa as part of our recent Rajasthan trip. Location of the hotel is good and staff are nice too. They do have some teething problems with Bathroom but overall a good value of money. Its a small hotel with only 3-4 rooms on first floor. Kitchen is not there but we were served breakfast by the staff there each morning.

It's not a luxury hotel but if you are looking for a budget option with value for your money then go for it. A special thanks to Dalpat Singh Tanwar from wjtsjaisalmer for all the help he provided in arranging our trip.

Room Tip: Check the bathroom for water logging.

Rooms are very spacious and nice. Ethenic furniture & nice paintings in the room. The owner and the staff are very courteous. However, the only constraint is fooding as the hotel does not has a kitchen, you have to order everything from outside. But will love to stay again as staying there is very homely and comfortable.

We arrived in Jaisalmer very tired and very early in the morning (5:30 am). The very friendly Prem picked us up with his car and offered us some nice chai. The rooms are very clean and typically Indian decorated. But the staff was actually the reason why we loved this hotel; they are all very friendly guys who like to tell you about the desert life and show you around in the city. They offer also desert safari tours but they are not putting you under presure to take one. You are free to compare their tours with other companies, but after we compared them we took theirs anyway. And we didn't regret it: the tour of 1 night sleeping in the desert was awesome! An amazing experience!! They took us 75km out of Jaisalmer in the desert with almost no other tourists around. It's really worth the money!!
The price of the hotel is actually not as expensive as is mentioned.

We really had a great time at this place. We met Prem in Jodhpur and he told us about his place and he didn't lie. At 6:00 am he picked us up from the station and brought us to Vansh villa. A good hotel with very clean and spacious rooms. We payed not much. (R 450,-). Also our camel safari was amazing. (We booked it at the hotel as well.) Sleeping under the stars without any other tourist near. Great! If you book here ask for Buba & Aladin as your camel guides!

together with my friend i had great time in jaisalmer and the vansh villa! i felt welcome and comfortable for the 3 days we stayed there! in the vanish villa there is great service and everyone is trying to make the customer feel as comfortable as possible. we got a great room with bathroom, balcony and a big bed, where we were able to relax after the long journey! also the food there was really delicious and tasty. if we had any questions or problems the owner and workers there always helped us (f. ex.: find good place to repair our shoes; telling the way to places; giving lifts with the motorbike, let us using the internet for free, chai for free, using rooftop for washing and drying our clothes and taking breakfast and dinner there, etc.)
we also did the camel safari- and it was really wonderful! we were a bit worried, that its maybe really too much touristic and we are together with lots of other persons on the safari- but luckily we had great 2 days in the desert with nice and polite camel- drivers! there cared about us during the safari and gave everything to us, what was needed for those 2 days (wonderful food (chapatti, dal and subzi; chai, fruits, bread, coffee,...) water, a lot of blankets, nice stories,... a good company!
... it was really not that mass-tourist thing we were worried about to take maybe!

i will always remember this part of my india- journey!

We spent four nights in this delightful hotel. It was one of the highlights of our holiday and we would recommend it to anyone. It is calm, well managed and very attractive with very kind, attentive and welcoming staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. The manager was so helpful and the owners came and welcomed us personally. The room look was very new and absolutely beautiful and the meals were all excellent especially the Daal Baati Churma. We will certainly try to go back one day and are delighted that we chose Vansh Villa.
