Not sure why I listened to my taxi driver and why I went to this place. I guess its the commission which was making the drivers and guides get people to this place, but clearly everyone seemed disappointed on coming here.

Firstly, no one is there to serve, the order is taken as if I owe the restaurant something. The owner or the person sitting at the cash desk very clearly tells you that order what you have in one go since its going to take time.

The veg cutlet was like a bad Manchurian ball (maybe they brought me a Manchurian cutlet). The Hakka noodles or Chowmein or whatever you want to call it was a noodle of the thickness size we used to see in the 80s when brands were not available in India with some strange garnish. I just had my cold drink and left this place in a jiffy since they could not even make a proper Fresh lime for us.

Service, food, ambiance all very bad.

Sadly, there was nothing good about this place. The food was terrible, the service equally terrible (took over one hour to serve lunch !!), and the ambience was bad too as the place is basically a tin shack done up cheaply. NO - AVOID THIS PLACE and be thankful to God.

We were taken here on recommendation after booking a camel safari. It is out of the town so lovely and quiet, no noise pollution. There are a few small tables on the roof all candle lit, the service was attentive and all questions answered. Food was nice, prices were ok but the Views are lovely. Overall a really great experience. We are a couple from UK/Australia and ordered North Indian mains. We liked the rabbits in the entrance too, especially the baby ones!! We would recommend this to other travellers.

Maybe they had an off day with us, but the vegetable were overcooked and too mushy, and the corn soup was soo peppery, we couldn't taste anything else. They did take back the vegetables and didn't charge us for it, but we didn't have the heart to complain about the soup. The staff apologized for the food and promised us it would be better next time. So maybe it was just an off day.
