This place has cozy, clean-ish rooms, and attentive, friendly staff. The roof deck is absurdly awesome, and Raj (owner? manager?) was fabulous. The best thing about it, however, was the camel trek they arranged for us. The guy who set up the tour was a little sideways (he charged us extra for "permits" to travel near the Pakistani border, which we later discovered was a ruse), but the trip itself was fabulous. An absolutely no-frills deal, we ate delicious food cooked on an open fire, slept under the stars on the camel saddle blankets, and even had a chance to fend off a wild dog in the middle of the night. It doesn't get more simple or authentic than this. Totally awesome experience.
